Day-trip to visit the UROS floating islands
The Uros are a pre-Incan people who live on self-fashioned floating islands in Lake Titicaca not far from the city of Puno.
The Uros use bundles of dried totora reeds to make the islands, boats, houses and pretty much anything they need.
